I’ve been meaning to update on Christmas this year before little brother gets here and takes up all the spare time we have managed to get. Lyla obviously loved Christmas because it was constant attention and presents for her. It took a few times of us having to re-wrap gifts and explain that they were for other people for her to understand that not everything under the tree is for her. But she got it. And she also got! So many toys and clothes. And considering her birthday was only a month before Christmas, she got very few duplicate toys. I’m very glad we got her playroom finished b/c if we hadn’t, I don’t know where all of these toys would be now. They still spill over to the main living area of the house but that’s ok as she doesn’t like to play much by herself. We had so much fun with her this year celebrating at all the families’ get-togethers. She entertained and hugged and loved and laughed. She said Happy Birthday to Jesus everyday and still does. I think next year will only get better. I have pictures of various Christmas festivities that will come when I get time to download. Soon.
Now it’s just Baby Brother watch. She’s getting excited, I don’t think she quite understands exactly what’s happening but she knows something’s up. And soon she’ll really understand when he comes home and steals a bit of her attention. I hope for a smooth transition there.
Just a reminder, that baby Brother has his own page. Just go to the top of this page and click the drop down box for him and I'm updating that with a big name announcement.
Kindest Regards,
The McLamb Family
