Rain Rain, go the F away...

Harsh words for Mother Nature, I know, but I'm over it. If I wanted cold and rain, I'd move the family to Seattle! T Ball was supposed to have started the 27th of February, but we literally have only played 1/2 an inning yesterday and it started dumping and cancelled. The Phillies have had some great practices though! Next weekend, I have the first sports conflict involving two children. Owen has a 3:20 game Saturday in Long Beach and Kelly is flying home Friday to play Far West Regionals with his club team for the weekend and has a 1:00 game too in Temecula! I told Kelly if Owen didn't get rained out Saturday and played, I'd miss Owen's game the 13th and go to his 1:00 game. Well, what does a mother do now? Owen played 1/2 an inning, didn't even get his team up to bat, and downpour. Sure I'll figure it out, I always do. Can't wait until Kieran plays indoor in a year (Owen started at 2 1/2 and balled it up), Kelly has a COLLEGE game, and Owen has T Ball or soccer! Then what?

The little boys are getting along much better. The age gap seems to be closing. They play together a lot. Kieran will do anything his brother tells him. That can be good or bad. There is fighting and whining happening, but lots of tender moments as well. Sometimes I catch them hugging or telling each other they love each other, it's pretty damn cute. Kieran's language skills are still off the charts, thanks to his big brother. He really misses Kelly. AND Kelly's friend Nico too, who came to visit over Winter break. He always asks about Nico and he wanted to call him the other day too, so we did, so they could chat. He woke up the other morning and said "mommy, my see Kelly again sometime soon?" He just asked me today "When is Kelly coming home?" After we went to the aquarium, he keeps asking "mommy, my go the the aquarium again" I love when he says "my" instead of "can I"? Still can't decide to do with the kid's mullet though. He has the worst fly away baby hair. I have to use my good shampoo and conditioner on it and it still is dry and umkempt. I'd shave his head, like we do to Owen every summer, but the poor kid has those ears, so..can't really do that.
