Some men never learn to do laundry. I wonder if those men were as curious about the washing machine as Austin is? It is a fascinating thing with all those buttons and knobs and when it is running, it spins! But when I caught Austin loading the washing machine with blankets, towels, shoes and whatever else was within his reach, it became apparent that he might be interested in more than just the buttons, knobs and spinning. Now if I could only teach him how to measure the detergent and set the cycle on his own!
Austin has been fighting a cold the past few days but that did not stop us from enjoying some Halloween fun. Our friend, Gavin, from school had a Halloween party at his house yesterday so Austin and I dressed up and went over for the celebration. We both had fun and Austin was especially taken by Gavin's two dogs. He dressed up as the character Troy from High School Musical played by Zac Efron and I dressed up as a butterfly. I think we made a cute pair, although, I never made it into any of the pictures.
Austin had his 3-year-old check up last week and everything checked out fine. He is growing on target and keeping me as busy as a 3-year-old should! He got his seasonal flu shot and H1N1 flu nasal spray so hopefully he'll be good for the year.
