Sophie was the light of our lives.  No matter what our family challenges were, we continued to feel the sunshine pouring out of our sweet little girl.  When Sophie went to heaven, we lost our sunshine.  We still had some warmth from the memories, but the past few years without her have been a cloudy patch, and we have missed our sunny days so much. But after two years, we have sunshine coming back into our lives- we are proud and thrilled to announce that Sophie will be a Big Sister Angel in January! We will always miss Sophie more than words could ever express, but knowing that we will have sunny days again make us happy beyond belief.  We can't wait to hold, kiss and love our new baby, and to share the story of his/her amazing big sister, who will always be watching and loving all of us from heaven.

Sophie, we know that you are so happy that you are finally going to be a big sister, and that we will have another special person to share all that you taught us about being good parents.  Thank you for making us the mommy and daddy that we are today, and for bringing us so much sunshine. We know that you are the perfect guardian angel for the new baby, and the baby will grow up knowing all about you and loving you so much.  We love you forever.
