This year I am very excited for Christmas. Mommy and Daddy have the house decorated with two trees, nutcrackers and more; we have an animated nutcracker that I like to press the button and watch it dance. Also, I helped Mommy put ornaments on the tree this year, and I love the one's that make music and move. I try to be really careful with the ornaments, but I sometimes get caught taking one off the tree; it is by accident. I just like to see them up close, and press the buttons.
I got to go visit Santa last week in San Francisco, and it took a lot of convincing to get me to sit on his lap. Once I sat on his lap I was a little shy and was able to tell him I wanted a baby for Christmas. My cousin Natalie helped me tell him that I wanted a baby with a cup. Whew! Santa told me that if I am a good girl that he will send Rudolph down to give me a kiss. Christmas morning, if I have a red dot on my nose, that is a kiss from Rudolph!
Mommy and Daddy took me to visit Christmas Tree Lane, where there were lots of houses decorated with LOTS of lights. Also, we drove by a house that has lights that dance to the music on the radio. I liked all the pretty colors and seeing the lights dance as we listened to the music.
There is a lot of excitement in our house right now. I am excited to be a big sister and meet my new baby brother or sister. I can’t decide if I would rather have a baby brother or sister. Mommy keeps talking about how I can be a big help to her with the baby. She says that the baby can come any day now. I have been helping mommy shop for some winter items for the baby, and washing some really small clothes for the baby. I think the clothes could fit my baby doll. I will let you know once the baby is born…stay tuned! You can visit our website for the baby at: http://www.babysites.com/sites/babykellen/?seq=2
I hope you have a Merry Christmas!
Love, Emily
