We hope that you are having a wonderful Easter weekend!  Matthew, John, and I have enjoyed our first Easter when Matthew actually is big enough to understand.  We went to Birmingham Southern's Alumni Egg Hunt yesterday and had an awesome time.  Matthew hunted and found 19 eggs all by himself!  He also had a paw print painted on his face, made an Easter cookie, and bounced in his first Moon bounce.  All and all, it was a very fun and full day.  This morning he is enjoying his first chocolate easter bunny- he has already eaten the ear:)  I fear the bunny will not make it to tomorrow!  

In other news, Matthew is doing great.  He is singing up a storm these days and can count to 20!  He also says hola, gracias, and adios without prompting, which cracks us up.  He is the poster child for programs like Dora and Diego!  He has also hit a recent growth spurt and has put on 2 lbs and about 2 inches.  He is very much an independent young man.

John and I are great too.  The end is in sight!  I take my COMP exams this week, and then only have 2 more classes until graduation.  We have also both applied to take our National Boards next year, so that is exciting as well!  John also finished up softball this past weekend.  They had a great season and some wonderful girls on the team.
