November is here already?! As I write this, we are in the middle of a really big Nor'easter storm. The winds and rain have been raging for 2 days, and we've all been trapped in the house! The streets are like canals, and we have a tree down blocking my car in to the driveway. It barely missed falling on my car!
In other news, Archer is starting to crawl. He is moving from a sitting position to hands and knees. Sometimes he will take a few crawling steps forward. Other times he goes into a pushup position on hands and toes that looks very funny. He's already a strong little guy!
Archer's a big fan of eating baby food. He loves cereals mixed with fruit or sweet potatoes. Really he's eaten anything we've fed him except peas. He's night and day different from Ellie Claire at that age! He also drinks juice out of a sippy cup and holds it himself. His acid reflux is just as bad as ever, only now, he's moving while he spits up, so cleanup is a challenge! Good thing for a washing machine and carpet cleaner!
We have been busy trying to avoid the dreaded H1N1 virus that is going around. I finally go the kids the vaccine shot, but they have to get another in a month to get immunity. Hopefully we can avoid it until then! Ellie Claire has already survived run-ins with several friends at school who came down with it.
Ellie Claire is doing great writing her name. She can definitley write Ellie, and the Claire is coming along. She is learning her phone number and address. She loves to draw pictures of people, animals, and other things. She's always coloring or painting something to share with us!
We had a wonderful time with our families for Archer's baptism. It was very special to us to have so many loved ones here to witness his baptism. We also had a great time trick or treating on Halloween. Ellie Claire had fun being Cinderella and hanging out with her friend Alexi.
Ellie Claire is currently gearing up for a big Thanksgiving Program at school. I can't wait to see her perform on the stage! I will take pics and video, don't worry! We will be staying here for Thanksgiving, but we will be home for Christmas! We can't wait to see everyone!
