A lot has happened since I last updated this website. I was going to give up on the babysites website, but after Landon Craig Brandmeier was born I was able to reflect on Brooke's pictures and decided that it was important for me to continue this journal of the kids growing up. It all happens so fast and it's so hard to remember all the moments unless it's updated frequently.
On November 19, 2009 Brooke became a big sister. Landon has his own section on babysites so you can use the drop down feature on the left hand side of the screen and choose Landon's name to see his updated pictures and profile.
Brooke is 100% potty trained, well except for sleeping at night, but we will take it. She says that only babies wear diapers, not big girls. Of course she is referring to herself as the big girl. The latest and greatest is that she is in love with princesses. She knows them all by heart and knows them by the color of their dress... Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Bell, Ariel, you name it, she knows it. She is definitely a girly girl but also loves to watch football with her daddy. She definitely didn't get that from me. :-) She is a total daddy's little girl.
This past Christmas was the first Christmas where Brooke was fascinated by all the lights and understood what Santa Claus was all about. While she still wont sit on Santa's lap to take pictures just yet, she did get close enough to get a candy cane from him. One step at a time. What a wonderful Christmas it was! Living your life through your kids eyes just makes everything all worth it.
