We had an unusual Thanksgiving, but a memorable one for sure. We spent the night with Grammy and Pop in their rented beach house at Alligator Point. We spent the day on the beach catching shrimp with a throw net (Barrett's highlight of the trip) and then Pop and I used some of them to fish with (I caught 7 and Pop caught 6 :)). Danni spent most of the day finding "she shells" and stomping on pictures Grammy made in the sand for her. Then for dinner Chris and Grammy boiled up a huge pot of crab claws, shrimp, potatoes, onions, corn, and sausage. We dumped it on the table and the feast began. It was really good. First thing Barrett said this morning was "let's go shrimpin!" Anyhow, we hope you had a great holiday as well. Check out our photos from the day!
