Fun at the Children's Museum

Recently I went to the Children’s Museum for my first time. Well, not really my first time. I have been there before, but I was only about 7 months old and all I could really do was sit in the stroller and watch Jagger play. But this time I actually got to run around and play. It was so much fun! Daddy said that he was disappointed in my “lack of focus.” Mommy said, “What do you expect from a 13 month old and this being his first time in a place like this where he can run around and be free???” Daddy just couldn’t believe how amped up I was running from exhibit to exhibit with a huge smile on my face and loving every minute of it. Boy was I exhausted when we left there and I can’t wait to go back!

I love to give hugs! Renee, my babysitter, told mommy that I will just be playing and then walk up to her and give her a hug. I have been giving my parents tons of hugs, and even when they don’t ask for them. I have even started to initiate a hug when I do something naughty before my mommy can say, “No Cade.” Then she finds is hard to scold me. Smile When I give hugs I even give you a little love pat. You know like when big people hug and they pat each other on the back? Yep, that is what I do. Mommy, daddy, and Renee crack up laughing when I do that.

I have also learned that when I fall and cry mommy comes to help and comfort me. So when she is busy and not paying attention to me, I like to “accidentally” fall and start to fake cry so that mommy will come to me and give me attention. She thinks that I am pretty smart to figure that out, but also thinks it is hilarious to watch me “fall.”

I also am completely over my RSV so that is good. Instead of doing those breathing treatments for a month, I only had to do them for a week and a half. Dr. Betsy told me and my mom, “Good job!”

Mommy also discovered that I got my 8th tooth and it is one of those owie molar teeth. I was laughing in the bathtub and she saw my new tooth. So she decided to investigate and see if any more were coming. To her surprise she felt and my top gum was swollen to the max on my top gum, and was even black and blue on one side. She described it to daddy and so he had to take a look and he said that it looked even worse than mommy explained it. My parents feel so bad for me and can’t wait until this tooth or teeth come in so I am not in so much pain. They can’t really tell that I am in pain, but they know I am just by how it looks! So I should be getting more teeth here pretty soon. What fun, not!
