HAVING A BLAST IN AUGUST!!

Daddy knows my love for trucks so when he heard there was going to be a Monster Truck Show he knew just the kid to take. ME! When we arrived there were some "little" monster trucks that amazed me, but when the really big ones came out and reeved up their engines, I was in SHOCK!! They were so cool and I didn't take my eyes off them the whole time. I would clap and yell when they did a cool trick. At the end, the last monster truck stalled and so Mommy and Daddy told me that the monster truck was stuck in the mud. So the whole way home I said, "Monster truck stuck" and grunted like I was trying to pull it out. So if you ask me about those monster trucks today, I will still do the same thing. Luckily, Daddy bought me a monster truck movie while we were there so I can watch them over and over. This movie along with two other truck movies are by far my favorite movies. We haven't seen Elmo or Yo Gabba Gabba since June!

In August we also had the Lingenfelter Family Reunion in Osmond. About 100 people were there and the kids all went on a bear hunt. Mommy, being the teacher, was nominated to read the book to the kids and Great Uncle Marvin took us on the bear hunt. I was so happy when I found my bear, Link, in the tent.

We went to Daddy's work picnic again. This year I was tearing up the inflatables and loved jumping in them.  That was where I spent most of my night and was exhausted when we got home. I also waited patiently in line for about 10 minutes to get a puppy balloon. I loved it so much that I wouldn't put it down which inadvertantly caused it to slowly pop.

I attended my first and last Omaha Royals baseball game at Rosenblatt Stadium. I went with my two neighborhood buddies, Charlie and Will. We all sat really good for a while, but then we started to get antsy. Luckily they also had inflatables there that help to keep up entertained. Mommy then pulled out suckers for us which helped us to stay til the end of the game and see the fireworks. All three of us made it to the fireworks so our parents called it a SUCCESS!!

I have been doing so many cool projects at Renee's house at daycare. We have learned about zoo animals, farm animals, and are just starting to learn about colors. Check out the photos of my projects!
