Zoe turned 15 months old over our break. I still can't really believe that the holidays came and went so fast! This year was so much fun and I know next year will be even better when Zoe realizes that Santa is coming. We were very busy with holiday parties; 4 in total that we attended outside of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Christmas morning we woke Zoe up and had placed presents under the tree, but all she cared about was getting her bottle. Once she was fed though she was ready to unwrap! She still needed our help. Zoe got lots of presents and clothes, but I think her favorite gift so far has been a baby doll that her Uncle Ralph got her. She plays with her all the time while she is here, gives her hugs and kisses, and won't stop saying, "Baby." It is too cute.
Yesterday we had Zoe's 15 month check-up. Everything seems to be doing great outside of the eczema that she has in her diaper area. We have taken her to several different people (when we couldn't get in with our doctor) and all have stated that it is a yeast infection. She seems to be rpetty fine with it, but we have some new medicine that will hopefully get rid of it for good. Zoe is 70th percentile for weight and height.
Zoe is still all over the place, finding new things to get into everyday. She is starting to repeat words, although she usually never says them again after she repeats them. Words that she uses regularly are baby, uh-oh, Daddy, and hi, but she definitely recognizes a lot more. She knows where her nose and belly button are, as well as ours, and I tell her to get things all the time and she knows exactly what I am talking about...such as cheerios, juice, dog, Rudolph (stuffed animal), phone, and di-di (her cloth diaper that she cuddles with).
