And so our journey ends at babysites...I started this site as a way to record all of my hopes, fears, dreams, thoughts and wishes for a little girl from afar. My trip to China to become a family and more...
It has been and continues to be an amazing journey. My little baby (14 mths old when she came home) is growing up - which is exactly what we want for our children. She has grown many inches taller, added about 10 lbs, gone from not walking to riding her trike, gone from baby babble to singing so many songs and saying those precious words - Mama - I love you! One could not have asked for more.
Thank you to everyone that it took to bring us together as a family. The road was long - but the reward so great! Thank you to the people in China at the CCAA - who match familes everyday - they do amazing work! Maybe one day China will open its doors back up to singles - there are so many children and so many people that could give these (and other children around the world) a great family-with love like they may have never dreamed of - and isn't that what is life is all about - having love and giving love.
And so like a little girls pair of shoes - that have been outgrown - we are moving...
