After a very long, long wait, we're happy to introduce you to our new daughter!
Her Chinese name is Guo Dan Ying (gwah done ing).
Dan means Red, Ying means Outstanding Person or Hero
DOB: September 20, 2008 (9 months old)
At March 7 physical, she was 24.4" long, 13.2 lbs. They state everything is normal physically. She is in the Gui Xi City Orphanage in the Jiangxi (kind of pronounced jiohg-she) Province in the middle/south of China.
She wakes up at 6:30 am and goes to bed around 8:30. Takes a morning and evening 1 to 2 hour nap, is on milk based formula with some supplement foods, and apparently sleeps through the night.
She likes outdoors and.... music! Apparently, she's also kind of restless and likes a lot of activity... and her reactions are quick. (Sounds like she'll fit right in!)
Thanks for all your help and support - we are bursting with joy!
Love, Trish and Pete
