I can't believe it has been two months since I updated the site. With little ones, two months is a long time! Roby has his top two incisors coming down to join his bottom two teeth. He started walking a few weeks ago and now can walk across a room by himself! He is eating almost all table food these days and is a very good eater. He talks gibberish more now, and will grunt to let you know when he wants something! He can also wave bye-bye and has started pointing. He really loves Audrey and has started crying the mornings she leaves the house for preschool (although he does not mind at all when Colman and I leave for work). He and Audrey play chase where she will crawl around after him or he will grab onto her back and try to run after her. They keep us on our toes!
Audrey is really cracking us up these days. The other morning as she was watching her "Clifford" cartoon we heard her say "Roby - you paused my show and that is not good!". When Colman and I looked in on her we saw Roby standing holding the tv remote! Too funny! Audrey has many forms of speech she has picked up like "I need one more minute" (when she doesn't want to stop doing something), "how 'bout that" (when she's asking your opinion), and "you're my best friend in the whole wide world" (said to anyone she is very happy with at the moment). She likes to play dress-up and she also likes to play pretend. We are usually either pretending she is our teacher at school or we are the family next door (she is the baby Collier, Roby is the big sister Lilly Grace, and Colman and I are the parents). She also really loves her pre-school.
We got a new Au Pair on February 12th. Jeanette is from South Africa and has already settled in very well. The kids love her and she is a cheerful addition to our household. Juliana is returning to Brazil to get married later this summer, but for the time being she is still in Atlanta so the kids still get to see her, which is very nice.
Lots to look forward to in the next month - new baby Scheffer is due to arrive any day now and Roby will be turning one on March 27th! Kindest Regards, The Egan Family
