The boys had their 3 year physicals today! We got to meet Dr. Fernandez the replacement Dr for Hamzeh. She was very nice and the boys really liked her. She moved into his old building so it was all familiar to the boys and I think that really helped them. She asked them how old they were and they said "3 yrs old", then she asked them where they were at and they said "Dr. Hamzeh's house"! Cute and sad all at the same time.
Garrett is 26.8 lbs and 35 inches. Bryant is 27 lbs and 35 inches.
I had her look at their teeth again just as a reassurance that it wasn't from the Keppra and she agreed they have normal color variant and no worries about the Keppra. We reviewed the last neurologist visit and got her caught up on the epilepsy. She is familiar with Dr. Andrews the neurologist so that was nice to hear. I went over some concerns I had about them not being in pre-school yet and she did the colors, shapes and alphabet with them. Thank goodness they felt like participating and answered all the questions correctly. She said not to worry about academics because they are ahead for their age. That was a relief because I'm always worried about them being behind. They even counted to 15 for her! No shots today, Woo-Hoo! They are still small for their age but have continued on the same growth curve as always so no worries there. She did agree that it wouldn't hurt to continue with the Boost for Kids. I was dissappointed in myself, I forgot to recharge the camera battery after yesterday's dentist appt. so only a few pics I took with my phone came out :( I think it went well. Now lets hope we can stay healthy and avoid going to the Dr this year!
