Lot’s of fun things have been happening the last few weeks, Mom just hasn’t had time to get the pictures on the website! We’ve been running every weekend and not stopping this weekend!!!
Memorial Day we headed to the lake! On the way down we stopped to check out a boat that Daddy had been looking at. Well we didn’t just look, we bought it! It’s a much bigger boat than what we had and will fit our growing family much better. Plus now we can go faster! Daddy is really excited about the new boat but also knows he needs to work a few more shift at Bass Pro so we can pay for it!!! We also have to sell the other boat so if anyone wants to buy it, give us a call!!! Anyway, we spent Memorial Day weekend with MeMa and PaPa as well as Uncle Brian, Kasie and Ethan. It was a fun weekend filled with lots of good times. MeMa always spoils us which is the best! I can’t wait to see them again soon!
When we got the boat home on Monday evening, it didn’t quite fit in the garage like Mommy and Daddy wanted it to, so they had to rack their brains to see what they could do. Daddy was even ready to take the boat back to the guy he bought it from! I’m glad he didn’t have to do that. Anyway Mommy and Daddy spent a few evenings rearranging some things and making a few small changes on the boat to get it to fit. Now it is in the garage and I’m very happy!!

BABY BROTHER!
We are all very excited to be having a little boy the end of September. Now the plans are in action to get my big girl room completed and some new bedding for the babies crib. The plan is to have me in the big girl room by the 4th of July. We’ll see!!! Lots of work ahead of us but I know we will get it done! Finding the bedding is the first step, any suggestions???
Mommy and Daddy took me on my first camping trip and boy was it fun! I wasn’t so sure about sleeping in a tent, but Mom brought the laptop and I got to watch Mickey Mouse before bed and that made it all better. Mommy also said that she realized what a hard sleeper I was since it started lightning and thundering during the night. Mommy and Daddy got up and covered the boat, put the computer away and prepared for some rain showers. I never woke up once! Mommy was very thankful for that because she was afraid if I woke up she wouldn’t get much sleep. I surprised them all! We had a great time on the boat the next day and I liked going fast in the “bumpy water.” I wanted Daddy to do more but he had to stop and fish every once in awhile. I was even able to take a nap on the boat. Surprised everyone again and just laid down on the floor and took a nap-life jacket and all! Craziness!
Well I think I got everyone caught up on the business of the Burt household! I’m looking forward to this weekend because I get to spend it with MeMa and PaPa while Mommy goes to her friend “Pup’s” baby shower in St. Louis. Daddy is going camping again so he can find some fish for his big fishing tournament the next weekend. We hope he does! Take care and we’ll keep you updated on BABY BROTHER!!!
