I have had the best 2 weeks!! It all stated with a visit with Grandma Ruth! We had a great time running around shopping all over town. She even introduced me to some garage sales and I had a great time. She was amazed and how I let you know what I want. Especially when I’m tired and ready for bed. I really don’t want to go to sleep but I know that I will feel better if I do. Nothing goes my way and I just get mad so Mommy tells me it’s time for bed. We got to go swimming and Janice and Stanton’s pool with the whole Tucker clan. It was lots of fun because the water was 90 degrees! It felt like a great big bath!! I had so much fun splashing in the water and can’t wait to do it again. Hopefully soon!
I got to stay home for a whole week with Mom because she had knee surgery. She said it bothered her when she was pregnant and just kept getting worse. Then a few weeks ago it just swelled up and she couldn’t bend it or straighten in all the way. So she went and had it “scoped”. They didn’t find any major damage just some scarring inflammation. She is feeling much better now and goes back to work tomorrow. It was fun being at home with her though even though she made me crawl everywhere because she couldn’t carry me. I wish she could stay at home with me everyday but she says she would go crazy.
I’ve learned how to crawl up stairs thanks to Grandma Burt letting me practice. And if you get me going down backwards I slide all the way down on my belly. I think it is fun and Daddy had a good time watching me crawl all the way upstairs with poop in my diaper. He said that I was crawling to have Mommy change it. One of these days I’ll be walking up those stairs. Mom says it won’t be too long since I’m starting to cruise around furniture. I don’t go too fast, but it won’t be long!
I’m looking forward to the 4th of July. Mommy and Daddy say there will be pretty fireworks. I don’t know what they really are but I’ll find out sooner or later. Okay off to bed! Hope everyone is having a great summer!!! Kindest Regards, The Burt Family
