It's at this point in life, that we have decided to "take over" Eva's website, and begin writing from "our perspective." With baby #2 due in less than 8 weeks, we find ourselves encountering more and more parental trials to share with our friends and family. We've decided to use her site as a family blog to detail our latest adventures.
Trouble, Trouble, Trouble, seems to be Eva's first, middle, and last name. She is our personal, walking tornado, as she seems to be in destructive mode wherever she goes. Recently, this was the most true when we put her down for what we thought would be a peaceful nap. After moving into our new home (just two short weeks ago) Eva was also transitioned to her new toddler bed. She loves the big girl bed, and overall the transition was very easy.
However, she can get in and out of her bed easily, and last Saturday this proved to be a big difficulty. She was having a difficult day, and so we were looking forward to a peaceful nap. When we no longer heard her chatting to herself, we assumed she had fallen asleep. TWO HOURS later, after checking on the princess who seemed to now be awake, Zach was alarmed to find our two year old busy with the diaper rash cream and baby powder. She apparently felt like both herself and her new room were in need of a makeover. For what appeared to be two hours, Eva was busily covering herself and her room in diaper rash cream (reason 5, 647 to get potty trained) and then topping everything off with a coat of baby powder.
I'm glad Zach had sense to take a photo, as I would have been much too concerned with cleaning up. Even now we laugh, but day to day it seems as if our bundle of joy is becoming more of a bundle of catasrophes.
Awww, good thing she's so darn cute.
Love You,
Eva Elizabeth
