whoops!

Oh darn it! I've done it yet again!! Time slips away from me so often and many times I've told myself to get on here and let everyone know how we're doing. But these little men keep us very busy and my free time ends up being just that, FREE time!

The last time I wrote was in May and in the last 4 months we've gone thru quite a lot of changes and growths! We DID sell our house and closed on June 26th!! Brian and I met with our realtor and looked at a few houses and found one we loved - however it didn't work out for us in the end. We have been staying in Hampton with my parents which is quite a change for all of us. Gavin and Grayson adjusted fairly well which was great for all of us! In July we found another house that we LOVE LOVE LOVE and it's located in Hastings. We're set to move in there on October 29th and are looking forward to it!!

The 4th of July holiday week proved to be our greatest week of the summer! Both of the boys started walking within a week of each other. Now that they've mastered walking, they are working on running which is quite comical at times. I love watching them bring toys back and forth from the playroom and living room and make a huge mess in about 10 minutes. The joys of boys!!

At the boys' 18 month well checks last week Gavin weighed just 18 lb. 8 oz and Grayson was 22 lb 2 oz (if I'm remembering correctly). We're going to set up an appointment with a pediatric dietician for Gavin to see and find out if there is a healthy way to help him gain weight. I'd love to see him hit the 20 lb mark sooner or later. He looks so little when he walks that it seems awkward! We were able to take the boys off of the Pulmicort nebulizer treatments for the summer and then started them back up on it this week. With chronic lung disease, we want to make sure they have steroids at the appropriate times of the year, such as spring and fall, to get ahead of any lung infections that could bother them or make them sick. It's not a failproof way to keep them healthy by any means, but hopefully it help. We also make sure to get our flu shots - the boys got theirs last week - and we're holding out on the H1N1 shots for now until our doctor feels it's needed. She recommended waiting for now because there isn't enough proof that it will really hit the area, or that the strain of the flu will be the same as the shots the boys would receive. She knows well enough that I'm not into giving shots/vaccinations if they are unnecessary.

I'll post some newer pictures so please check them out! And forgive me if I don't post anything for quite some time again! I can almost guarantee it will be after we move to our new house.

Thanks again for keeping up with us! I can't wait for the boys to understand the support that got us here today! I'm keeping all of the comments you all have made and copies of all of the journal entries I've posted for their babybooks.

Keep in touch with us!
