Were there nothing else but our love for each other,
I would still have all I need.

Fairies and Super Heros took to the street on Halloween, as Isabel experienced Trick or Treating first-hand. She did pretty well and was very excited about the idea of free chocolate. We met at a friend's house, ate pizza and then herded the kids out for a fun stroll around her neighborhood. During the crash that followed the sugar high, I was able to dump the worst of the candy (taffy, sugar daddies, Now or Laters, etc.) and left Isabel with a basket full of chocolate. Thankfully, it was all gone within a couple of days. Let's just say that Isabel in no way needs MORE energy!
The next morning, we headed up to a farm that has a corn maze. We had fun getting lost among the corn stalks, visiting the barn animals, going on a hay ride and riding "cow train". That's the LAST time I shove my body into a 50 gallon drum on wheels. (And NO, I am NOT exaggerating!)
Last weekend, we traveled to Orlando for a Florida-Georgia CCAI(our adoption agency)reunion. Amazingly, one of the families we traveled to China with (and who live in Colorado) were on vacation at Disney World. We were able to get together for a visit. The two girls had great fun together. It seems unreal that the last time they were together, they were just approaching their first birthday... especially in light of the fact that Isabel will be turning three in three weeks.
