Ed and I were at the mall yesterday and can you believe it! Santa was already there! So, we thought it was great time for Lauren and Santa to meet. She looked at him kinda funny and tried to figure out who he was, but overall it was great and she seemed to like him. Hey, most kids were coming out of there screaming with tears on their faces!
Lauren is so very smart. You can tell her to point or pick up most items and she knows what you are talking about. Ed and I have started to have to spell "B-A-T-H" and "M-I-L-K" because she knows what we are talking about it and will want it immediatly. She is quacking like a duck, mooing like a cow, and my favorite..saying "whoa" like Mommy and Daddy do.
She is cruising around the furniture, sometimes even using one hand, but still will not stand on her own and even take any attempts to walk. I'm okay with that :-) Pretty soon she will be running...
We also had a big day yesterday, as I finally heard her say "Mamma" Phew! I was leaving the room as she was eating dinner to grab her something from her room and Ed was in the kitchen and this little voice is saying "MA MAMAMA" I, of course, started to cry.
As you can see things are going well, but busy. We are trying to plan Lauren's 1st birthday bash and get ready for the holidays. It's amazing that she is going to be a year already. Time flies so fast and before I know it, she is gonna be 30!
Love,
Erin, Ed and Lauren
