Taylor's party was today, it went very well I believe. Laid back relaxed, the grown guys played sports while the girls chatted and the kids ran around. Taylor's favorite part was the cake. He actually finished his entire piece, minus what ended up on his face, his arms his legs, and me. I was quite impressed since he doesn't get much sugar that he attacked the thing. Taylor continues to grow up. Had his 12 month dr.s appt last week, he's 32 inches and 24 pounds, well above average in both (95% and 75% respectively) He can now stand on his own, and could walk on his own, but currently lacks the confidence. He'll take one step to get from one piece of furniture to the next as he cruises around the living room. He's also become ultra-destructive. He pulled off our top shelf in our book shelf, not the stuff on the shelf, the actual shelf. He knows how to open all the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen and loves making noise with all that stuff. He also has a fondness for dumping out the dogs water dish, so currently the dog can only get a drink when the baby's napping or down for the night. I still can't believe my tiny baby is a year old. I had to get rid of some of the pictures in the old albums, but I recommend looking back at some of the ones from the past just to see the difference. Hope this finds everyone else doing well!
