Well last few weeks have been a little wild and stressful for the Newton crew! I think we’ve been to the doctor about a bazillion times over the past few weeks. It all started on Father’s day when Cole decided to start off the festivities of the day by sticking his fingers in his daddy’s coffee.  So long story short he ended up with 2^nd degree burns on 2 of his fingers. Once the blisters popped we had to bandage these TINY little fingers for a week…OMG! Then finally after the week of bandages was done, he spiked a 103-degree fever; worried the fingers may be infected we headed to the Dr. AGAIN. Turns out he had a virus in addition to the fingers.  Dr. put him on an antibiotic as a “precautionary” for the fingers getting infected and he ended up having a reaction to the antibiotic and breaking out in a rash all over his lower body.  MY POOR BABY!!! So once Cole was finally starting to feel better, fingers looking good, fever gone… Courtney came down with the virus and high fever. It was so sad; she had been looking forward to the 4^th of July all year and we got to Uncle Joe and Aunt Sue’s for the picnic and here comes the fever and bellyaches. Like I said it ‘s been a stressful few weeks, but I think all is calm now and everyone is happy and healthy (cross my fingers)!
