Much to my dismay, my sweet little Eli has turned into a little 2-year old monster practically over the past two weeks. Don't get me wrong, he still has his sweet moments, but those moments are getting more and more scarce. Let me explain...

This past Sunday during Awana, they had to come get me four times because he was throwing fits, pushing children down, and hitting his Mema. Finally, I just had to keep him in the room with me because there was obviously no point in putting him right back in the midst of the rest of the kids. Needless to say, John Marc and I just went straight home after church rather than going out to eat with the family. That would have been more trouble than it was worth....and poor Mema was ready to quit the nursery by the time it was all over with!!!

Then Monday night at Mimi & Poppy's Eli and Nat-Nat couldn't get enough of each other's toys...which, of course, caused more arguing.

On Tuesday (yesterday) when I picked Eli up from daycare, I was informed that Eli pushed two kids down for no reason - totally unprovoked. What has happened to my child?! While I was standing there discussing everything with the teacher, I notice Eli walk across the room towards one of the little girls who was standing up looking at a book. What does he do? Pushes her down for no reason! I'm sure it goes without saying, but that was not a good decision with Mommy in the room!!!

Is this a revolt Eli is throwing up against being a big brother? Or just the terrible two's? Why is no-one else's child going through the terrible two's?!
