Welcome to 2010! The new decade has been a busy one at our house and we're only 7 days into it! Parker enjoyed ringing in the new year in Pinetop, AZ. We stayed at Papa's cabin and had a great New Years Eve sledding in the snow! Parker even went down the mountain by himself!! He loved having snowball fights with his best friend, Kathryn, and waiting for midnight. Too bad he wasn't able to stay up to see the ball drop.. he finally tuckered out at 11:30 p.m.! Just as we returned from our trip, Parker started preschool with a bang- literally! Only 45 minutes into his first day of school at Northwest Christian Preschool, we got a call from the school nurse that Parker had a playground accident! He was more bummed about missing the rest of the day and show and tell than the injury! Needless to say, it didn't dampen his spirit and he was so excited to go back to class the next day- especially since it was snow day! He loved spending the morning sledding down the little hill of snow the school brought in for the day with his new buddies!
