Stealing the idea from Jamie and Kristi ¡V here is Avery¡¦s 18 month update! Stats at Birth: 7 lbs, 15oz and 20inches NOW: 21 lbs, 12 oz, 31 3/4 in In the 20% for weight and 50% for height. Favorite words: Mama Dada No Drink Thank you Welcome Please There she is Up Help Milk Baby Puppy Poopoo Sissies Yes Belly Book Kitty Paci Grandma Papa Ball Night night Shoe Hello Bye bye Elmo This Me Pretty Yeah Brush Stairs Downstairs I know Hola Lights Bad Go Tickle Banana Uh oh Off One Of course some of these words are more clear than others, but most she says well ƒº Animal sounds Avery likes to make: dog, duck, kitty, cow Favorite Foods: You name it she¡¦s had it ¡V favorites are probably fruit, pasta, cheese, and oatmeal, but she will eat about anything! Baby Signs: "All Done", "More", ¡§Milk¡¨ Naps: Two ¡V from 10-12 and then from 3-5. This has been varying a little though the last few weeks, more like 10-1130 or 1030-12 and then 3-430 or 330-5, so I think she may be trying to make the jump to one nap ¡V about once a week she will just take one because we are running around in the morning and then she will sleep for about 3 hours right in the middle of the day and then go to bed early ¡V today was 4 hours! Although that isn¡¦t typical ;) Milk: drinks from sippy cups, with meals. Bedtime: 7:30pm Wake-up Time: 7:30am Righty or Lefty: not sure yet ¡V the other girls I knew by now but not her ¡V I am thinking righty? Teeth: Only 6! Doc said that she is taking her time...although today at the dr he said he saw all of her molars and two other front teeth are on their way, she saved them all up for now! Agh! Hair cuts: had her first one a week and a half ago ¡V the mullet had to go! States Avery has been to: 5 (Colorado, California, Utah, Arizona, and Nevada) Number of times on a plane: to CA and back twice Times to Disneyland: 3 Zoo: Can¡¦t say we have done this yet! Just the aquarium, the wildlife center, and the childrens museum My morning and afternoon activities: not too much yet ¡V usually playing with mom and sisters and running errands, pretty exciting! Hoping to do an art or music class this summer Favorite shows/movies: My Friends Tigger and Pooh, Scooby Doo My memory: is great! Picks up on stuff very quickly, very in tune with surroundings. Always remembers little games her sisters play with her, knows where things are and can get them when asked. Climbing: Loves to climb! The girl is fearless. Climbs on chairs, tables, into the window sills, up and down stairs, over the half wall to our kitchen, the gate, etc. Practically gives me a heart attack sometimes! Other Fun Skills: Loves to help pick up, brush hair, practice putting on clothes (and taking them off, lol), brush teeth, put on shoes/socks, throw away trash, hide things in cupboards, wash herself in the bathtub (with help of course), read books, play with the animals, color, point out eyes, ears, nose, mouth, teeth, belly, feet, hair, on herself and others.
