Quincy learned a lot in preschool. (And as you'll see from the pictures, one of those things is falling asleep on the floor after a long day.) She started in March and already she knows most of her colors, numbers and letters. Her teachers are great and I think she will have them again next year. Special thanks to Ms. Judy, Ms. Linda, and Ms. Lori. They each made Quincy feel so special and loved.
At graduation Quincy won an award for hand-eye coordination. Her teacher said she'd never seen a three-year old have command of a pencil like Quincy does. This particular teacher teaches art classes, etc. during the summer and has commented that she thinks there is definately an artist in Quincy. It will be fun to see as she grows up.
Also, preschool has been great for Quincy's social life. She still likes to do a lot of things on her own, but she's definately interacting more with little kids (although she still is much more social with adults.) Our once quiet little kid has become quite chatty...and believe me we are thrilled about that!
Quincy's next adventure will be starting gymnastics in a couple of weeks. Then she'll start a preschool summer program...and then...(if everything goes according to schedule) she'll become a BIG sister! I think it's going to be a busy and exciting summer.
