Our sweet angel baby turned one today! We love Marley Belle and are so grateful she's part of our family.

We celebrated in style with a lunch outing to Boneheads where Reed convinced me to try a piece of shrimp. I got it into my mouth, chewed a little...and then I couldn't do it. I'm lame...thanks, I know!! Quincy and Marley enjoyed yellow rice, chicken tenders and french fries. Reed actually got Quincy to try a few pieces of shrimp and Marley even tried the grilled zucchini.

Then it was off to the cupcake store because we had a free cupcake coupon that Quincy received from her school...and then a few days ago we got another one in the mail. WAIT...there's more!! Then, when we got to the store, the whole shopping complex was having a party with free giveaways (including a buy one get one free at said cupcake store), blow up bouncy things, kid hair coloring, candy, etc. Man, we couldn't have planned a better birthday party.

Quincy's breath was taken away upon enter the cupcake store. And when she saw that she could get a cupcake with chocolate chips on it...well, you can imagine the joy. The rest of us had a good time selecting our cupcakes too. The whole ride home (which luckily was only 5 minutes) was Quincy begging to eat her cupcake. What part of "WE WILL EAT THE CUPCAKES WHEN WE GET HOME!" did she not understand?

Anyhow, we made it home and enjoyed eating our yummy cupcakes. What a fun little family party. Happy first birthday sweet girl! We love you.
