Grandma and Grandpa Paidipalli threw a baby shower for Baby Girl Reddy in Memphis at the end of January. Uncle Vinod, Aunt Melanie, and Spenser also made the trip to Memphis. Vikas had a blast at the party....we are pretty sure he thought the party was for him. Some of the guests were so thoughtful that they brought presents for Vikas. Vikas enjoyed spending the weekend with Spenser as always.....he absolutely loves dogs and is finally able to say her name!
We are still not quite sure that Vikas understands that his baby sister is on her way in a few weeks. He points at his Mommy's belly and says baby and points at certain things around the house and seems to understand that they are for the baby.
Vikas is talking more and more and can even sing the words to a few songs. He loves to sing Happy Birthday! He likes to repeat what you are saying when you read him books. He definitely understands more and more, too. His Mommy and Daddy are learning that they need to watch everything they say.
We are busy getting ready for her arrival......she is due March 28th! Her nursery is slowly coming together. The room has been painted, curtains ordered, and the nursery furniture is on its way.....she will be here before we know it!
