Wow, it had been a long time since i have updated anything in here. I get the feeling that noboby really looks at this so have not been very diligent about updating.
So many new things since the last post. I guess I will just list what he has been up to since June
Sits up
dances to music
started swimming lessons and I am convinced he is the next Michael Phelps. He loves being in the water!
Very happy to play on his own with toys for long periods of time
Went on his first vacation to Pine Mountain lake with Grammy, Art, Auntie Meilss, Uncle Aaron and of course mom and dad. He swam in the lake and LOVED it.
Went to Santa Cruz and watched Uncle Rob do a triathlon
Eats big boy food (stage 2) also loves avocado, bread, mashed potatoes, bananas, teething biscuts, cheesy doodles.
3 of his top teeth are coming in which will make a total of 5 once they are fully in. He handles teething very well.
Sleeping at night is a challenge does not sleep through night still and since teething he wakes up A LOT.
LOVES LOVES being outside. We often will set up unbrellas and blankets in the lawn and play out there all day
Is getting much better at tummy time. He squirms backwards and did all the way across the carpet a couple days ago. I have a feeling crawling is not far off
He can roll over but does not do it too much.
He LOVES his puppies. Anytime they come into a room where he is he cracks up
He is a super duper happy kid. Does not fuss or cry unless he is tired really.
Charlie graduated to the big boy bath. He no longer fits in the baby bathtub so we got him a tub seat and he likes playing with his rubber duckies during his bath. He also still loves showering with daddy when he can
At his 6 month appointment he was 18lbs 10.6oz (61%) and was 29inches tall (98%). Growing like a little weed!
He went on his first plane ride to visit the Thez family in Long Beach and so I could attend a work conference. Jeff babysat while I was at my classes and Charlie was a really good boy.
Charlie spent the night at Grammy's house while Aric and I went to Murphy's for our 1 year anniversary. He was a good boy but got Grammy and Art up very early so they were very tired!
I am sure I am forgetting things and will add more if I think of anything
